Once your event has a seatmap, you can open the editor any time from Event > Tickets by clicking Edit seatmap. It's also accessible directly from your event's Dashboard, for quickly checking how sales are going.
The editor has three tabs:
Overview — a read-only summary of your seatmap's current state
Tiers — manage pricing areas
Holds — block off seats from sale
Every change you make in the editor is saved automatically — there's no separate save button. Use Back to the event to close the editor and return to your event.
Managing tiers
Open the seatmap editor (Event > Tickets > Edit seatmap) and go to the Tiers tab. Here you can see, create, edit, reorder and delete tiers, and assign seats or general admission (GA) areas to them.
Creating a tier
Click + Add tier. A new tier is created with a default name and an unused color — both are editable right away.
Click the tier's name to edit it inline; it saves as soon as you click away.
Click the color dot to pick a color from 18 preset colors, or enter your own hex code (useful if you're matching an existing brand).
Tiers can be reordered by dragging them with the handle on the left of each row.
Assigning seats to a tier
You can select seats and GA areas on the seatmap in a few ways:
click a single seat or GA block
hold shift and drag to select a range
click a row or section label to select every available seat in that row or section
Click on the background to clear all of your selections.
Already sold or reserved seats can't be selected or reassigned to a different tier, even inside a larger selection — they're automatically excluded.
Once you have a selection, click Add next to the tier you want to assign it to. The selected seats immediately take on that tier's color.
Editing and deleting tiers
A tier's name, color and order can always be edited.
A tier can only be deleted if no seats or GA areas are currently assigned to it.
A tier with sold or reserved seats can't be edited or deleted until those change.
Managing holds
Open the seatmap editor (Event > Tickets > Edit seatmap) and go to the Holds tab. The header shows how many seats are currently held out of your venue's total, both as a count and a percentage.
Creating a hold
Click + Add hold. A new hold is created right away — holds don't have preset colors, they're always shown in black on the seatmap.
Give the hold a name (any text, so you can recognize it later — for example "Sponsors" or "Gradual opening – phase 2").
Both fields save automatically as soon as you click away from them.
Assigning seats to a hold
Selection works the same way as on the Tiers tab:
click a single seat or GA block
hold shift and drag to select a range
click a row or section label to select every available seat in that row or section
Once you have a selection, click Add next to the hold you want to use. The selected seats immediately show that hold's abbreviation and turn black on the map.
Releasing seats from a hold
Select the held seats you want to release and click Release (this option appears once your selection includes seats that are currently held). The seats become available for sale again, keeping their existing tier.
Deleting a hold
Click the delete icon next to a hold to remove it. All seats that were part of that hold are automatically released back to their tier.
