The first steps for a seated event are the same as for any other event - see Event basic info and Event details.
Important notes:
A seated event can only be created as a one-off event. Once you turn on reserved seating, the option to make it a recurring event is automatically disabled.
You'll need to add your venue before you can switch the event to seated.
Setting up your seated event
After entering your event's venue, you'll get the option to switch the event to seated.
Next, choose a seatmap for your event. See Create seatmap for how to reuse one of your previous seatmaps or a Cooltix template, or request a brand-new one for a venue we don't have yet.
Once your seatmap is set, add your ticket types and set a price for each one per tier - see Seated events - tiers and ticket types, Managing ticket types and Ticket settings.
Publish your event as usual - see Publish event.
Once published, seat selection becomes available on your event page, where customers pick their own seats when buying tickets. For tracking sales and managing your seatmap after publishing, see Manage and sales of seated events.
